Taconic Hills Titans (Craryville, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Catskill Cats (Catskill, NY), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Titans now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hudson for a Section 2 Patroon challenge on Monday, May 1. Taconic Hills will battle a Blue Hawks squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Rensselaer (Rensselaer, NY). The Blue Hawks record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Catskill drops to 0-8 on the year. The Cats host Greenville (Greenville, NY) to clash with the Spartans in a Section 2 Patroon game on Wednesday, May 3. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 6-5. Greenville won 10-5 in their recent league game against Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY)
