The Pe Ell/Willapa Valley softball team (Menlo, WA), was routed 5-0 in Friday's non-league test with the host Hoquiam Grizzlies (Hoquiam, WA)
Coming up next, the Grizzlies encounter the Tenino Beavers (Tenino, WA) in a 1A Evergreen test, on Tuesday, May 2. Hoquiam will attempt to improve on its 8-0 season record. The Beavers enter the test with a 4-7 record after their 23-6 league win over Eatonville (Eatonville, WA).
The (9-4) will now prepare for their test against North Beach (Ocean Shores, WA). The Hyaks enter the 2B Pacific test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, North Beach tipped Forks (Forks, WA), 12-1, in a league test.
