The La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) softball routed the host Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), 13-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Warriors (11-3) will now prepare for their bout against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots go into the Southern Maryland bout with a 9-7 record.
The Cougars now possess a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Chopticon for a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, May 3.
