Illinois High School Softball - Lincoln-Way West nudges Oswego

Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Andrew for a SouthWest Suburban challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Lincoln-Way West will face a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 16-4.
With the loss, Oswego falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL) to face the Cougars in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Monday, May 1. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 9-10.
