The Pleasant Plains Cardinals softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Lincolnwood Lancers to 2 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Pleasant Plains moves its record to 5-10 on the year. The Cardinals host Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL) to clash with the Saukees in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 2. The Saukees come into the game with a record of 6-12.
