Connecticut High School Softball - Ludlowe holds off McMahon

Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host McMahon Senators (Norwalk, CT), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ridgefield for a Fairfield County challenge on Monday, May 1. Ludlowe will face a Tigers squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, McMahon falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Senators host New Canaan (New Canaan, CT) to face the Rams in a Fairfield County challenge on Monday, May 1. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. New Canaan won 15-4 in their recent league challenge against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT)
