Indiana High School Softball - North Central can't hold off South Putnam

April 28, 2023: Farmersburg, IN 47850

The South Putnam Eagles softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host North Central Thunderbirds to 6 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, South Putnam moves its record to 4-10 on the year. The Eagles host Eminence (Eminence, IN) to clash with the Eels in a non-league game on Monday, May 1. The Eels come into the game with a record of 8-7. Eminence lost 14-1 in their recent non-league test against Cascade (Clayton, IN)

The Thunderbirds (4-13) will now prepare for their test against South Vermillion (Clinton, IN). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, South Vermillion tipped Seeger (West Lebanon, IN), 5-0, in a league test.
