Windsor Central Black Knights (Windsor, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Norwich Purple Tornado (Norwich, NY), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Black Knights now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Edison for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 29. Windsor Central will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Newark Valley (Newark Valley, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Norwich falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Purple tornado host Oneonta (Oneonta, NY) to battle the Yellowjackets in a Section 4 Southern Tier - East challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 4-5.
