Indiana High School Softball - Union County can't hold off South Dearborn

April 28, 2023: Aurora, IN 47001

The Union County Patriots softball team (Liberty, IN), was tipped 6-5 in Friday's non-league test with the host South Dearborn Knights (Aurora, IN)

Coming up next, the Knights encounter the Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN) in a Eastern Indiana test, on Monday, May 1. South Dearborn will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 3-10 record after their 11-6 league win over Greensburg (Greensburg, IN).

The Patriots (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Golden Bears come into the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Monroe Central was tipped by Wes-Del (Gaston, IN), 19-0, in a league test.
