Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Breckinridge County for a District 11 challenge on Monday, April 29. Hancock County will battle a Fighting Tigers squad coming off a 19-8 non-league loss to Owensboro (Owensboro, KY). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Russellville falls to 21-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Barren County (Glasgow, KY) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29.
