The Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) baseball got by the visiting Bald Eagle Area Eagles (Wingate, PA), 2-1 in Monday's league challenge.

The Bison now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bellwood-Antis for a Laurel Highlands East challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Clearfield will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 13-9 league loss to Central (Martinsburg, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-8.

With the defeat, Bald Eagle Area drops to 3-9 on the year. The Eagles host Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Huskies go into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Bishop Carroll won 22-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Glendale (Flinton, PA)
