The Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) baseball got by the visiting Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN), 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Loogootee for a Blue Chip challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Barr-Reeve will clash with a Lions team coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Lions record now stands at 1-7.
With the defeat, Gibson Southern drops to 9-4 on the year. The Titans host North Posey (Poseyville, IN) to clash with the Vikings in a Pocket challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 9-4. North Posey won 22-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN)
