In Monday's non-league bout, the Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Shakamak Lakers (Jasonville, IN), by a tally of 15-2.
Next up, the Stars encounter the Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) in a Hoosier Hills bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Bedford North Lawrence will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Olympians enter the bout with a 5-7 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN).
The Lakers (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN). The Thunderbirds enter the Southwestern Indiana bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Eastern Greene overcame Pike Central (Petersburg, IN), 13-0, in a non-league bout.
