Connecticut High School Baseball - Cheney Tech defeats Windham RVT

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Cheney Tech Chargers (Manchester, CT) and the host Windham RVT Mighty Tigers (Willimantic, CT), saw Cheney Tech's baseball team gain a win over Windham RVT by a tally of 17-9.

The Chargers (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Wildcats enter the Connecticut Technical - West battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Wolcott RVT prevailed over Weaver (Hartford, CT), 12-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mighty Tigers face the Wilcox RVT Wildcats (Meriden, CT) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 2. Windham RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 13-3 league win over Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT).
