The Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) baseball got by the visiting East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC), 8-7 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Dark Horses now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fairmont for a Southeastern Athletic 2A challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Clinton will clash with a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 11-11.
With the defeat, East Bladen drops to 10-10 on the year. The Eagles host East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 30. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 13-7. East Duplin won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC)
