The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Fieldston Eagles (Bronx, NY) and the host Horace Mann Lions (Riverdale, NY), saw Fieldston's baseball team gain a win over Horace Mann by a tally of 11-0.

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY). The Crusaders enter the Independent Private Parochial battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Long Island Lutheran defeated Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (Plainview, NY), 13-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Collegiate Dutchmen (New York, NY) in a Independent Private Parochial battle, on Friday, May 2. Horace Mann will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Dutchmen enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 6-0 league loss to Trinity (New York, NY).
