Virginia High School Baseball - Matoaca holds off Glen Allen

The Matoaca Warriors baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Glen Allen Jaguars to 1 in the Warriors non-league win on Monday.
The Warriors now hold a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dinwiddie for a Central test on Tuesday, April 29. Matoaca will play a Generals team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Generals record now stands at 8-3.
With the defeat, Glen Allen drops to 9-5 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Colonial test on Thursday, May 1. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 10-4. Deep Run won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA)
