The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ) and the visiting Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ), saw Payne Tech's baseball team gain a win over Golda Och Academy by a tally of 18-0.

The Lions (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Blue Bears enter the non-league battle with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Barringer ran past West Orange (West Orange, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

The now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Side for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8.
