The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Granville Golden Horde (Granville, NY) and the visiting North Warren Central Cougars (Chestertown, NY), saw Granville's baseball team beat North Warren Central by a margin of 11-0.

The Golden Horde (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Corinth (Corinth, NY). The Riverhawks go into the Section 2 Adirondack - East challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Corinth was overwhelmed by Hadley Luzerne (Lake Luzerne, NY), 2-1, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, North Warren Central drops to 6-2 on the year. The Cougars host Lake George (Lake George, NY) to clash with the Lakers in a Section 2 Adirondack - East challenge on Wednesday, April 30. The Lakers go into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Lake George lost 19-4 in their recent league challenge against Warrensburg (Warrensburg, NY)
