The Standing Bear Grizzlies (Lincoln, NE) baseball the visiting Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE), 8-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Grizzlies now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln East for a challenge on Wednesday, April 30. Standing Bear will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 15-1.
With the defeat, Gretna East drops to 14-6 on the year. The Griffins travel to Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE) to clash with the SkyHawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 3. The SkyHawks go into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Skutt Catholic lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE)
