Fans at Monday's league battle between the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) and the host Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), saw Andrew's soccer squad hold off Sandburg by a count of 3-2.

The Thunderbolts (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Chargers enter the battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Stagg was edged by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a battle, on Wednesday, April 30. Sandburg will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
