In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Classical Purple lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-11 triumph over the North Providence Cougars.

The Purple (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Spartans go into the Division 4 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Scituate held off Tiverton (Tiverton, RI), 12-3, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) in a Division 4 challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. North Providence will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 7-3 league loss to Scituate (North Scituate, RI).
