Fans at Monday's league test between the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) and the host Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), witnessed Conant's lacrosse squad top Elk Grove by a count of 17-2.

The Cougars (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies enter the Mid Suburban test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Hersey thwarted Fremd (Palatine, IL), 15-9, in a league test.

Next, the Grenadiers battle the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) in a Mid Suburban test, on Thursday, May 1. Elk Grove will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Fillies/Broncos enter the test with a 10-0 record after their 20-2 league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).
