South Carolina High School Soccer - Lexington knocks off Hammond

The Lexington Wildcats soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Hammond Skyhawks to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats now hold a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Dreher for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 1. Lexington will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 9-0 league win over York (York, SC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, Hammond moves to 8-6 on the year. The Skyhawks host Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC) to play the Highlanders in a SCISA AAA Region I bout on Thursday, May 1. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Heathwood Hall Episcopal lost 4-0 in their recent league bout against Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA)
