Connecticut High School Baseball - Darien defeats Staples/Trumbull

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) and the visiting Staples/Trumbull (Westport, CT), saw Darien's baseball team gain a win over Staples/Trumbull by a tally of 11-4.

The Blue Wave (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Trumbull (Trumbull, CT). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Trumbull held off Wilton (Wilton, CT), 14-2, in a non-league battle.
