Virginia High School Baseball - Riverside loses to Gainesville

Gainesville Cardinals (Gainesville, VA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA), 13-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Gainesville advances its record to 9-3 on the season. The Cardinals host Freedom (South Riding, VA) to battle the Eagles in a match on Friday, May 2. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 0-3.
The Ram now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potomac Falls for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 29. Riverside will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Independence (Ashburn, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.
