McKean Highlanders (Wilmington, DE) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE), 15-14 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, McKean advances its record to 1-0 on the season.
The Wildcats now have a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brandywine for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 14. Howard will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 24-0 non-league loss to Caravel Academy (Bear, DE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
