The Westfield Shamrocks baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Plainfield Quakers to 0 in the Shamrocks non-league win on Monday.

The Shamrocks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kokomo for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Westfield will play a Wildkats team coming off a 8-8 non-league Lawrence Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Wildkats record now stands at 1-5.

With the defeat, Plainfield drops to 11-2 on the year. The Quakers host Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Hawks in a test on Tuesday, April 29. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 0-0.
