The Silex Owls (Silex, MO) baseball got by the visiting Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO), 4-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Owls now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wright City for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2.
With the defeat, Van-Far drops to 0-1 on the year. The Indians host Northeast (Cairo, MO) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
