Fans at Monday's league contest between the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) and the host Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), witnessed Bethesda-Chevy Chase's lacrosse squad top Northwood by a count of 18-5.

The Barons (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Patriots enter the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Wootton was overwhelmed by Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD), 14-3, in a league contest.

Next, the Gladiators meet the Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD) in a Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A contest, on Friday, May 2. Northwood will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
