Fans at Monday's non-league test between the Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) and the visiting Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), witnessed Blacksburg's lacrosse squad overcome Franklin County by a count of 14-6.

The Bruins (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons enter the River Ridge test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Christiansburg was overwhelmed by Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 22-6, in a league test.

Next, the Eagles battle the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 1. Franklin County will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the test with a 4-4 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA).
