Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Pompton Lakes Cardinals (Pompton Lakes, NJ), 9-6 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Boonton advances its record to 8-3 on the season. The Bombers host High Point (Sussex, NJ) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 2-7. High Point won 12-2 in their recent league game against North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ)

The Cardinals now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Catholic for a Dowling game on Wednesday, April 30. Pompton Lakes will play a Vikings team coming off a 17-15 non-league loss to Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 2-5.
