In Monday's non-league match, the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) lacrosse team triumphed over the visiting Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), by a tally of 14-6.
Next up, the Corsairs confront the Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 29. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 1-6 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to McHenry (McHenry, IL).
The Caxys (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Wheeling was overwhelmed by Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL), 24-4, in a league challenge.
