Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the host Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ), 9-8 in a league game.
With the victory, Morristown-Beard advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Crimson host West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ) to play the Minutemen in a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. The Highlanders now sport a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dayton for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 30. Governor Livingston will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 20-6 non-league loss to Millburn (Millburn, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.
