In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Marion Local Flyers softball team scored a tight 10-5 win over the Ansonia Tigers.
The Flyers (7-8) will now prepare for their match against St. Henry (St. Henry, OH). The Redskins come into the Midwest Athletic match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, St. Henry was routed by Russia (Russia, OH), 5-4, in a non-league match.
