Michigan High School Softball - Midland edges Bay City Western

The Midland Chemics softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Bay City Western Warriors to 2 in the Chemics league win on Monday.

The Chemics now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davison for a Saginaw Valley battle on Wednesday, April 30.

With the loss, Bay City Western moves to 5-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Lapeer (Lapeer, MI) to confront the Lightning in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 1. The Lightning come into the battle with a record of 1-4. Lapeer won 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI)
