The Lincoln-Way East Griffins softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Beecher Bobcats to 0 in the Griffins non-league win on Monday.

The Griffins now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln-Way Central for a SouthWest Suburban battle on Tuesday, April 29. Lincoln-Way East will confront a Knights team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Knights record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Beecher moves to 21-1 on the season. The Bobcats host Clifton Central (Clifton, IL) to confront the Comets in a River Valley battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Comets come into the battle with a record of 12-8. Clifton Central lost 6-0 in their recent league battle against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL)
