The Bryant Hornets the host Star City Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 2-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons (Little Rock, AR) in a 6A Central challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Bryant will attempt to upgrade on its 17-1 season record. The Gryphons enter the challenge with a 4-16 record after their 17-5 league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR).

The Bulldogs (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Watson Chapel (Pine Bluff, AR). The Wildcats enter the 4A Region 8 challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Watson Chapel by Hamburg (Hamburg, AR), 12-2, in a league challenge.
