The Columbia Cougars softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Governor Livingston Highlanders to 3 in the Cougars non-league win on Monday.
The Cougars now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nutley for a SEC - American battle on Wednesday, April 30.
With the loss, Governor Livingston moves to 10-4 on the season. The Highlanders host Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ) to confront the Raiders in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 10-3. Scotch Plains-Fanwood won 5-2 in their recent league battle against Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ)
