The Portsmouth Clippers softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Exeter Blue Hawks to 1 in the Clippers league win on Monday.

The Clippers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dover for a Division I battle on Wednesday, April 30. Portsmouth will confront a Green Wave team coming off a 8-5 league loss to Keene (Keene, NH). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Exeter moves to 3-4 on the season. The Blue hawks travel to Merrimack (Merrimack, NH) to confront the Tomahawks in a Division I battle on Monday, May 5. The Tomahawks come into the battle with a record of 3-4.
