The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Salem Rocks (Canton, MI) and the visiting Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI), observed Salem's softball team prevail over Franklin by a tally of 15-5.

The Rocks (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Brighton (Brighton, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Kensington Lakes - West bout with a 2-10 record. In their last bout, Brighton was routed by South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI), 18-11, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Belleville Tigers (Belleville, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - East bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 8-4 league win over Glenn (Westland, MI).
