In Monday's non-league match, the host Mt. Spokane Wildcats softball team scored a tight 6-0 win over the Freeman Scotties.

The Wildcats (17-0) will now prepare for their match against Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA). The Bullpups come into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane match with a 0-17 record. In their last match, Gonzaga Prep was routed by Shadle Park (Spokane, WA), 20-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Scotties confront the Liberty Lancers (Spangle, WA) in a 2B Bi-County match, on Tuesday, April 29. Freeman will attempt to better on its 18-1 season record.
