The Harvard Hornets overwhelmed the visiting Round Lake Panthers softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets meet the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Harvard will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 21-4 non-league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL).
The Panthers (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Sequoits go into the Northern Lake County challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Antioch was routed by St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.
