The Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies Mustangs softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Pershing Doughboys to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 29.

With the loss, Pershing moves to 0-6 on the season. The Doughboys travel to Ford (Detroit, MI) to confront the Trojans in a non-league battle on Monday, April 28. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 1-1. Ford won 9-3 in their recent non-league battle against Detroit Community (Detroit, MI)
