In Monday's non-league test, the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hercules Titans (Hercules, CA), by a tally of 15-3.

Next, the Highlanders clash with the Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 1. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 5-10 record after their 10-9 league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA).

The Titans (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Emery (Emeryville, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Emery prevailed over Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA), 1-0, in a non-league test.
