The Kenston Forest Kavaliers the visiting Isle of Wight Academy Chargers softball squad by a count of 6-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Kavaliers meet the Tidewater Academy Warriors (Wakefield, VA) in a Virginia Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Kenston Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Surry County (Dendron, VA).
The Chargers (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Saints enter the non-league game with a 14-4 record. In their last game, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy edged Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA), 5-0, in a non-league game.
