Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), 23-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Southampton improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 29. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 6-0. Lunenburg Central won 12-1 in their recent non-league game against Altavista (Altavista, VA)

The Justices now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Henrico for a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. John Marshall will play a Warriors squad coming off a 24-14 non-league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-6.
