The Katella Knights (Anaheim, CA) softball routed the host Loara Saxons (Anaheim, CA), 16-1 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Knights now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laguna Hills for a Golden West outing on Wednesday, April 30. Katella will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Buena Park (Buena Park, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Loara falls to 9-10 on the year. The Saxons travel to Orange (Orange, CA) to play the Panthers in a Garden Grove challenge on Friday, May 2. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 6-11. Orange lost 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA)
