The Lexington Minutemen triumphed over the host Perkins Pirates softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Minutemen meet the Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Arrows enter the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Clear Fork (Bellville, OH).
The Pirates (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Sandusky (Sandusky, OH). The Blue Streaks enter the Sandusky Bay - Lake challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Sandusky overcame Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH), 19-0, in a non-league challenge.
