The Washington Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and restricted the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters to 3 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.

The Panthers (15-2) will now prepare for their bout against Morton (Morton, IL). The Potters go into the Mid-Illini bout with a 3-13 record. In their last bout, Morton tipped Richwoods (Peoria, IL), 3-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Railsplitters battle the Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 9-11 season record. The Purple Raiders go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL).
